The aim of the project is the introduction of the primary separation of recyclable municipal waste. Introducing primary separation will decrease the amount of waste going to landfill and thereby contribute to the improvement of the environment.

The contract comprises supply of a:

1. Specialized vehicle - one garbage truck, for collection and transport of recyclable waste collected from households in the city. Vehicle shall be brand new, unused and un-refurbished, left hand drive side, suitable for RCV.

2. Plastic containers (bins) for collecting recyclable waste – 18300 items; Volume of 120 l; Quality: EN 840 or equivalent.

3. Plastic bags for waste collection from users in residential buildings – 138000 items. Quality: EN13432 or equivalent.

All goods must originate from EU or eligible country, as defined in PRAG procedures.

Point n°: 11. Tender guarantee

Tenderers must provide a tender guarantee of at 2% for LOT No. 1 and LOT No. 2 when submitting their tender.. This guarantee will be released to unsuccessful tenderers once the tender procedure has been completed and to the successful tenderer(s) upon signature of the contract by all parties. This guarantee will be called upon if the tenderer does not fulfil all obligations stated in its tender.

For LOT No. 1 and LOT No. 2, tenderers must provide a tender guarantee of at 2 % when submitting their tender. This guarantee will be released to unsuccessful tenderers once the tender procedure has been completed and to the successful tenderer(s) upon signature of the contract by all parties. This guarantee will be called upon if the tenderer does not fulfil all obligations stated in its tender.

 

Point n°: 12 Performance guarantee

Instead of (Insert former text):

The successful tenderer will be asked to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the amount of the contract at the signing of the contract for LOT No. 1 and LOT No. 2. This guarantee must be provided together with the return of the countersigned contract no later than 30 days after the tenderer receives the contract signed by the Contracting Authority. If the selected tenderer fails to provide such a guarantee within this period, the contract will be void and a new contract may be drawn up and sent to the tenderer which has submitted the next cheapest compliant tender.

For LOT No. 1 and LOT No. 2, the successful tenderer will be asked to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the amount of the contract at the signing of the contract. This guarantee must be provided together with the return of the countersigned contract no later than 30 days after the tenderer receives the contract signed by the Contracting Authority. If the selected tenderer fails to provide such a guarantee within this period, the contract will be void and a new contract may be drawn up and sent to the tenderer which has submitted the next cheapest compliant tender.

All other terms and conditions of the contract notice remain unchanged. The above alterations and /or corrections to the contract notice are integral part of the contract notice.
